As a licensed Professional Civil Engineer in Oregon, Allen has nearly 15 years of experience in the Portland area, with a specialization in urban, mixed-use project design.  Allen’s experience includes engineering services for full project designs from due diligence studies and schematic designs to construction documents and permit plans.  He has worked on site design and layout, grading and erosion control, stormwater pollution and prevention plans, storm drainage plans and reports, public works, sanitary and water designs, earthwork analysis, franchise utility designs, and complete coordination as the liaison between the owner/developer and the city or jurisdiction throughout the permitting process.  Allen’s experience includes working with survey data, creating and editing 3D surfaces, advanced grading techniques, profiles, cross-sections, and detailed cost estimates and schedules.
