The new Cedartree Hotel Portland Metro is nearly complete!  HDG provided full civil engineering design services for the Japanese-style hotel in Hillsboro, with features including an Onsen bath, a Sake bar, a fitness center, meeting and event space, and a restaurant.  You can learn more about this amazing new hotel at cedartreehotels.com.

HDG is proud to have provided civil engineering design services for two 2023 Daily Journal of Commerce Top Projects First Place winners!

The 71,000-SF, two-building Oregon Humane Society New Road Ahead expansion project won first place in the Hospitality and Special Purposes category.  The project includes a Behavior Modification and Rescue Center as well as a Community Veterinary Hospital and specialized Animal Crimes Forensics Center – only the second facility of its kind in the U.S. (shown in photo).

The 136,000-SF Phase 3 Expansion of Rose Villa Senior Living Community won first place in the Multi-Family and Mixed Use category.  The project added several new buildings at the south end of the Senior Living campus and provides additional senior housing with sustainability as a key factor in the project’s development.
