Project Engineer

Humber Design Group is seeking a talented, self-motivated, licensed Civil Engineer to join our award-winning Portland, Oregon team.  The successful candidate will be interested in working in Humber Design Group’s small-firm, collaborative team environment where our non-bureaucratic, flat organizational structure allows you to work directly with architects, owners, developers, agencies, and others and have ownership in projects and relationships.

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of land development projects throughout the Pacific Northwest, in an environment where your advancement is based on your own technical abilities, approach, capacity to work as a team, commitment to client service, and drive to succeed.  Among the standard engineering responsibilities, we are seeking a candidate who is willing to mentor and train younger engineers, enjoys the details of great design and first-rate technical documents, and is an excellent communicator.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Licensed Professional Engineer with 4+ years of experience
• Direct experience in civil engineering land development design in Portland
