Deana Mulder
As Quality Control Specialist at HDG, Deana’s responsibilities include reviewing internal construction documents before permit submittal, coordinating with internal design team members, and helping to ensure that our documents are the most complete and accurate that they can be. She also assists in training staff on quality assurance processes and regulatory compliance, communicates quality standards to project team members, and helps analyze past projects for lessons learned and process improvements.
Before joining HDG part-time, Deana worked full-time at the Clackamas County Department of Transportation and Development (“CCDTD”) for 37 years. Her work included eight years in CCDTD’s transportation maintenance department completing maintenance and keeping inventory of roads and their conditions, as well as drainage facilities. She also spent eight years at CCDTD working with driveway and utility permitting and inspections, and 21 years in the CCDTD engineering department carrying out design review, conditional use, subdivision comments for land use applications related to roads, access and circulation for land use, and permitting and inspection of permitted projects. Her work also included reviews for site development and public improvements for roads, access, parking, and circulation.
