The Marketing Director at Humber Design Group, Teri has more than 30 years of service marketing experience, having worked in both the construction and legal industries. She is a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, where she has held numerous board positions in the past for the organization’s local chapter and has provided training at the national level for the organization and its many incoming chapter board members. In her role at HDG, Teri puts her experience to work focusing on the planning, development, and implementation of various marketing tools and strategies including proposal writing, graphic design, brand awareness, PR, strategic planning, market research, and client and business development. She is also a member of the firm’s management team. Teri received her BA in psychology and communications from the University of Portland.

Teri loves the creative aspect of marketing – tailored research, unique approaches, and clever applications to address interests effectively and hit the right target, whether it’s a need or a demographic. She also loves the people aspect of what she does. Portland is full of amazing, friendly, and talented people and she thinks it’s just plain fun to get to meet and work with a handful of them as a part of her job.
When she isn’t busy coming up with marketing ideas for Humber Design, Teri enjoys spending time with her husband and two children exploring the outdoors, from national parks and scenic mountain hikes to her favorite – the Columbia River Gorge. She enjoys photography as a hobby and is always up for a great game of pool and a nice cold beer, a good movie, snuggling with her cats, anything creative, and time nurturing her love of animals.
